The rain begins to fall once again
as a soft chill wind blows across the skin
stiring up memories of days gone by
all things eventualy come to an end
and new events in our lives begin.
Life is like a reflection in the water so perfect
a simple pebble will send ripples across the image and distort it
a new person becomes a trusted friend
and an old lover leaves never to be heard from again.
The ever rotating wheel known as time
what reflections for others do we leave behind?
